At MLLE we do things differently. We take responsibility for each and every one of our pushchairs from beginning to end - it’s something we believe that every brand should do, but most don’t. Here’s why we do it.
Did you know over 1 million pushchairs are sold in the UK each year? Over 95% of those end up either at local refuge centres or in Landfill. That’s an unbelievable amount of waste and is the reason we work hard to fully recycle each and every MLLE pushchair.
The MLLE 3 Step Live Longer Process
Refurbish
If a pushchair can have a new life with someone else, we will put it through our extensive MLLE checks and refurbish it ready for the next adventure. All with the same warranty, service and experience of a new MLLE - it’s just had a little extra love beforehand!
Re-use
If we can’t refurbish a pushchair fully, we will look at which parts we can use again. We use these for spares to repair other peoples pushchairs, and keep them in stock should you ever need them.
Recycle
If we think it’s time for a MLLE pushchair to retire, we ensure that every component is, where possible, recycled responsibly and turned into future products for us all to enjoy. This helps us avoid the 95% of pushchairs that end up going to waste. Simply get in touch and we will let you know the best way to send your pushchair back to us.

As a company, we are working towards a carbon “negative” footprint, and we can only do this with your help. The first step in this process? Making sure all our MLLE pushchairs are recycled responsibly. This helps to reduce the overall carbon needed not just for future pushchairs, but for other consumer products too. It's a win-win!
The MLLE Way
MLLE is so much more than just recycling.
For us it’s about letting products live a full and happy life. You may chuckle, but just go with us on this one. The longer a pushchair can work for, the lower its carbon footprint life. When the time comes to change your pushchair, or you simply don’t need it anymore, you can either:
Trade in for money off: When you have finished with your MLLE pushchair, you can choose to trade it in and get money off your next, no matter what condition it’s in!
Recycle responsibly: If you don’t need your pushchair anymore, we will happily recycle it for you - simply contact the team. Depending on the age and condition of your pushchair, we might even be able to offer you some money for it, or a reward for doing your bit to help. Whatever the case, you can rest comfortably in the knowledge that your pushchair will be 100% responsibly recycled, helping our little world one step at a time.

If we think it can go on more adventures, then we put it through our comprehensive refurbishment program and fifty-point MLLE MOT.

MLLE is unique in our approach.
The above process goes above and beyond that of almost all consumer brands and is something that we passionately believe everyone should be doing. Behind the scenes, MLLE are constantly working hard to minimise our impact, reduce our carbon footprint and make our products reach carbon neutral or better. If we all do our part, we can succeed! Here are just some of things that go on behind the scenes to make this an achievable goal.
You can be assured that when you buy from MLLE you are buying a truly considered pushchair that has been created with a dedication to reducing waste. Together we can make small changes that we truly hope will have a big impact for future generations
MATERIALS
We select the best materials for quality but also for recycling. A great example? Our tubes which are all made from INFINITELY recyclable aerospace aluminium (meaning it’s over 99% recyclable, every time!)
In the design
From the materials we select to the way we design them, it all helps to reduce our impact. If a pushchair can be used two, three or more times - or its parts re-used - then this means we can make less. Making less = less carbon!
Our energy
All of the energy used in MLLEs UK warehouses is from 100% renewable sources. It costs a little bit more but we think that’s a small price to pay.
Our delivery
We choose carbon neutral delivery services wherever we can and one of our main partners is DPD (check them out for yourselves here). They are doing great things and getting your parcels to you every day!
